Political activities outside Iran are not just “acts of solidarity from afar”. They are important on their own merit. Iran and abroad constitute one united political development for the future of Iran’s politics. They are interlinked and affect the outcome of changes in Iran. Considering the fact that, currently many Iranians living abroad have taken to the streets, one must extend these activities. Worker-communism Unity Party wishes to close up regime’s presence abroad more than before by emphasizing the following:
Abolition of Islamic regime as the legitimate state of Iran and its expulsion from the international community
The international atmosphere has taken a turn against the Islamic Republic of Iran. International support and solidarity with the struggle of people of Iran for overthrowing the regime is wide spread. One can say that the position of the Islamic regime is something similar to that of the racial regime of South Africa towards the end of its rule. We must use this favourable opportunity to completely isolate the Islamic regime internationally. The Islamic regime should have the same fate as the apartheid regime in South Africa. We, thus declare that we are against economic sanctions but demand the abolition of Islamic Republic as the legitimate state of Iran and demand its expulsion from the international community. The Islamic Republic is as much the state of Iran as the apartheid regime was of South Africa. Besides, the Iranian embassies are centres for spying on the opposition and are the logistic headquarters for organising terrorist activities. They must be closed down. We must put pressure on the Western states to close them down and shut down all the so called cultural and political institutions in these countries.
Freezing of bank accounts, outside Iran, belonging to the leaders of the Islamic regime
There are enormous evidence and documents showing thieving and embezzlement of people’s money by the regime leaders who have pocketed huge amounts into their personal bank accounts in Europe, Canada and other Western countries. All this money belongs to the people of Iran. Any assistance or cooperation for the transfer of this money to other sources is considered by WUP, people of Iran and the future state of Iran as accomplice to embezzlement. No bank account should be opened for the regime’s leaders and agents. All information about these accounts must be revealed and legally investigated. All such present accounts must be closed, the assets frozen and delivered to the state chosen by people in the aftermath of the toppling of the Islamic regime. We see it as our right to employ all legal ways to stop embezzlement of people’s money and expose those institutions or individuals involved. Money laundering is illegal, immoral, indefensible and condemned. All these accounts must be frozen.
Leaders of the Islamic regime must be tried for crimes against people of Iran
The Islamic regime is criminal and murderous. The execution of nearly 150,000 people is on top of the record for this regime. The Islamic Republic was born by carrying out massacre, execution, and creating mass graves and has stood on its feet only by suppression, murder, stoning and imprisonment. The recent shootings and killings of the protestors are added to its record.
Worker-communism Unity Party demands that all leaders of Islamic regime and perpetrators of all crimes against people in Iran be tried at international courts of law. The aim is not revenge but justice. We promise that, on the day after the overthrow of the regime, these trials to be held. However, until then, we demand the international court of law to process their trials. We must prepare the evidence against the leaders of the Islamic Republic in order to facilitate the trials.
We call on all people, organisations and communists to support and join us in this endeavour. The realization of these demands will pave the way towards the overthrow of the Islamic Republic and establishment of a free, equal and prosperous human society.
